Some muslims are thinking that the last day is close, but it might be even further than you think. There are two types of signs, minor signs and major signs. Minor signs tell you that the day of judgement is near but not that close, major signs tell you that the last day is super close.

Tall buildings: As you can see nearly everywhere there are tall buildings, the tallest building currently is in Dubai. In London the tallest building is The Shard. This is one of the minor signs because the prophet (peace be upon him) said creating tall buildings doesn’t benefit us, it is wasting time. Now the builders are not just building, but competing with other countries of the world.

Music: Another minor sign is that music will become so common that it will be found in every household. As we can see today-with inventions things like iPods, websites and TV-music can be heard nearly in every home. Even in Saudi Arabia, such as: Arabs Got Talents, and nasheeds. Islam bands music in every ear.

Alcohol: Another sign, which we even see today, is the widespread of drinking Alcohol. Alcohol makes people drunk. It is not allowed in Islam because when you drink it-it makes you go mad and do bad deeds which will hurt other people in such ways.

Children disobeying their parents: This is another minor sign of the last day. Our parents do so much for, buying all the essentials to be living a nice life, sometimes they even bye us gifts. But what do children do in return? They disobey their parents. It’s like the child becomes the master and his/her parents become the servant. Children do this because they want their parents to give them what they want. But they don’t really even need it, do they? This is a very bad thing to do because you are disobeying the person who loves you and gave what you need to survive.
